Thank for letting me "tag along" guys,genuinely gutted for the two who where caught,even with hindsight looks like the plod regularly patrol that area,if they arn`t catching cars its bikes. I really enjoyed following you lot,the scenery was stunning and the roads are epic.......will look out...

As far as i`m aware this is still on,i`ll be doing the M6,M54,A5 then up to llangollen,am only doing the horseshoe pass and triangle myself but the other group are going to the coast also.Will be leaving at 9.30 so on the motorway from then,hopefully see some of the west midlanders there.

As the title says,we being blokey types and not wanting to watch the royal wedding a drive out and around north wales(evo triangle) is being organised on the 29th(friday).I`m going, and if anyone wants to join the run then i`m sure "the more the merrier",details can be found on the yorkshire...

Have booked off the 29th from work,clashes with the wifes birthday but she`ll be watching the wedding.

I actually met and arrived with the 197.net guys who were a good bunch,was a good day and the weather was glorious.I did laugh at a couple of drivers getting confused with the in road thinking it was an out road,doh!.

Just a few from the day,gorgeous aston`s and the 6R4 was bigger than i thought it was.

What you have to do is fit it and then chop off one of the ends as the skoda fabia that it is originally made for is wider.:cool:

Ye,there`s another one on the back window,got them from DP-performance,france,ordering them was tricky as i dont speak a word but managed it.

I was going to get the "skoda splitter", but this was free so stuck it on,its off an "r" reg megane.

If it only "clunks" when you accelerate hard,a slight pause before the gear is exchanged then if most definately is the dog bone,fit powerflex bushes and you`ll be amazed at the smoothness/difference.

I was going to do this but add new injectors,dont you need to stop the fuel supply or doesnt it run till you start the engine?

Great mod,larkspeed was the cheapest i found £33 with p+p.

Had them done and its like a new car(no....really it is),there is no "clunk" when i change gears at speed,smoother all round,well chuffed,....dont know why i didnt do them sooner.

Thats what i`ve heard,the early vibration....but can put up with that if my gear changes are sweeter and no clunking.

wish me luck,i`m having powerflex bushes fitted tomorrow(friday)hopefully i will sort out some engine noise and stiffen it up.:dapprove:
