Yes it really does! Doing the wiring has really dragged on as its so time consuming and then to finally finish it and test all the buttons and fire up the car is amazing. The car has run a few more times now :)

Depends on the quality of the loom really, the EC1 (Specialists components Typhoon) came in 2 different cases a metal one or the moulded plastic one with the latter being the more recent. Its a really good ECU and specialist components are very helpful. The dongle is 98 quid new. I'd guess...

You got a few detailed pictures of the loom showing what connectors it has on it? The main problem I could imagine would be where they have got the power feeds and also the fuel pump and cooling fan outputs. If you put some pictures up i'll try and help :)
