Selling my shocks from a FF 182, someone wants to buy them but they have no cup packs... are they both the same or differ? If different, can the buyer use their own springs or will they need the cup packed ones? I have no idea if the shocks differ, had a quick search so please don't say I didn't...

I want to use spray paint on some refurbished 4 pot calipers but after going on the VHT website, they state that you have to bake them for 20min @ 95deg c to cure the paint... Bit of a noob question, but being brake calipers that withstand well over that temp, can I pop them in the oven with...

I did the same, they work out very competative especially with HC discs too... If anyone is interested, I'm selling my set in the next week once I have my special brake kit fitted :D Will post something in the sale section soon ;)

Agree about the cage needed for harnesses, reality being that you will never roll the car, but still better to have one just in case you do. Each to their own in regards to going mad as mentioned above, I did the same as you and went for super hard AST's, half cage, full buckets etc... 99% of...

Yup, tis what i've done. Just find a ph1 left hand stalk, it will have the horn button on, keep all the existing features, and simple job to fit.

i've got a silenced one which is a bit like this. Looking on k-tec website it does look like a sports cat. With the emission light on, whats the best way of checking whats going on, and will the car fail an mot with the light on?

Is there any way of telling the difference between a sports cat and silenced decat on Janspeed systems? The emmision light has come on today so not 100% sure what is causing it....

Subframe will take both runners, they just pre-drill for both types. Pic below of the incorrect ones Cobra sent me, same as you... they will never learn!

My seats were the evolution ones, so the same runners that you should have. I think the one you have will be for the cheaper bottom mounted seats. Will get some pics off photobucket when im back home.

Pics of subframe? Cobra have been known to c**k things up mate, they sent me the narrow runners and said i needed adaption bars, they ended up sending me the correct runners and a whole new set of subframes :) Tell tweeks that you have the wrong frame and they might get cobra to send direct to you.

They do but its the removable one iir, did write down the cost but too lazy to search for it :rasp: Standard OMP or MOMO one will fit. Think i'll be asking them for on on Sunday, they normally stock one or two each time they go to the races.

Yes mate, they are the only place. I can't remember the exact price as it does change, but around the £140 mark delivered. You can get the non branded version through places like rallynuts, this seems to have crept up in price though...
