I think of all the places to f**k around on loose gravel, that is not the place. Loved when it goes slow mo and it sounds like they are saying "OOOOHHHHH SHHHIIIIITTTT"
CBA to go back through all the pictures, everyones seen it, everyone moans. But its gone now.
There's a guy who is basically recreating Zi's car atm. He's even bought his old Image splits off him. Except he's smoothed a load of it, its going to be on hydraulics and its a 2.2i.
I have one, but we were in a massive rush so CBA to crack it out.
I was very skeptical about him selling his Images' and throwing these on. But the colour, along with the new US spec rear plate tub and plate really look good.
Haha, desperate times call for desperate measures. The centre bore...
The bench grinder was a bad idea that never worked. However, the Z3 makes a great lathe. Both for sanding rims back ready for polish, and for shaving down centre bores on spacers.
It's on coilovers. It does have a front lift kit, that lifts it about 20mm. He only uses that so he can drive it on blocks, to get a jack under. Its so surprisingly nice to be in even though its low, I mean its crashy but doesnt tire you out like most low stuff. Easily sits at 120mph+, the...
Yes, the petrol pump gear knob has gone.
Keep an eye on this link: Video will be processed by tomorrow morning, it includes NOISE and the joys of last minute show prep: https://vimeo.com/68007034

I saw his Beetle. I didn't take a picture.
LOL at the Audi slagging off. I was ready to laugh, then I saw it hammering round track. Made an awesome noise and cornered very flat! Bag technology is awesome.
Tried to concentrate on cars that maybe wouldn't have 312414512451435451 pictures of them on the internet. Starting with Zi's Z3. We put in several late night/early mornings to get this thing ready. On Friday the wheels had their paint, and tyres put on. And at Midnight we started putting them...
It's not a knock, more like a drone. Almost sounds like a big bore exhaust lol. Here is a video did on my private runway. You can hear the constant noise, as I veer to the right it stops (you can hear that too when the noise sort of dips, thats me turning to the right).
Engine wise its fine. It's just I have stuff to pay off, and this on finance. Not a problem, but Im trying to save for my eurotrip in August, Tax in september, MOT October and insurance in November. Just all comes at once! And then the car decides to be a dick. A lot of it is me being picky, and...
Golf was mine. He's only had s**tty fords and a Punto.
So this car is proving to be a complete money pit. A time and energy drain thats left me fed up and feeling ripped off today!
Firstly, the car has had a light knock on the front. Fair enough, i could tell when I bought it due to the...
Cleaned mine 3 times in the last 4 days, still cant get it right. Love the colour of my car but its impossible to clean and the paint is fucked. Seeing yours all nice makes me so envious :(
Only took that pic for Gally, as the plate is almost identical to his new one! Lol. Does look a bit "Special" in the flesh to FRP owners credit.
Thanks for all the kind words too! Only seems like yesterday I first picked up an SLR camera.
Oh, and for those of you wondering, this is how NOT to leave a meet...
Have to say there were a few 182's with ClioSport stickers on! Counted about 3 Vee's too I think?
Finally got myself along to a PH Meet. I've been a long time lurker of the forum, and my friend (Booner) with the C6 Corvette offered me a lift up there. I didn't get my name on the list in time, otherwise I'd have brought the Golf up.
Jaguar put on a nice show for everyone. XJR-19 Le Mans car...
Try being in a Z3, cornering, bouncing off the floor and with shagged top mounts all round at those speeds. Then you know the true feeling of "Allotment shed falling off a cliff".
