Basically got bored and decided to make a bit of a mashup of the videos I've taken this year. Including the trip to Belgium, several trips to london, Edition38 and other random ones that don't really have a category.
:)
It's just a simple case of you get what you pay for. I used to think the same as you "f**k it, it looks the same". But I'm speaking from experience now, its worth holding out for something decent.
Everyone on here is f**king retarded.
Buy Lenso's, and its f**king clear they are lensos. They look like they are made from plastic and will be demolished by most pot holes. No I'm not overeacting, ive had reps and I know they are made of cheese.
Also, expensive wheels are more an investment...
Get 13's dont be homo... (These would look so cool) http://www.wheel-whores.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=10704&title=borbet-atiwe-13x7-et20&cat=4
The perfect wheels for this, IMO, would be Renault Alpine turbines. Or some compomotives. Modelled both by MK2 Golfs...
clean 2 by Andy...
OMG, give me this car. You clearly dont deserve it. DO IT PROPPA
Banded steels is fine btw, get some G60 steels like Winston has. They are a nice style and look well with some dishy dish dish dish.
Has a bit more rake as the backs been raised about 5-10mm, because it was scraping a bit too much on the arches (Winter tyres too btw, done propaaaaaa).
Obviously prefer the splits, but they have already been pitted by the small amount of frost we've had already.
It's on its winter wheels as the Image splits were getting shagged.

I prefer the anthracite side myself.
Okay so I really dont want to use anything harsh since I dont have access to a paint depth gauge so my new shopping list is...
Green Hexlogic pad. Scholl s17+ and anyone recommend a good finishing polish?
Pretty much the same decision process I went through when buying my Golf. Yeah my Golf was only £7k but obviously I earn less ;). Still, I thought "f**k it, I'm young and want a half decent car".
This thing is gorgeous, best colour too!
So start with the Scholl and see if it comes up well, if its still s**t then hit it with the #105? Just going by recommendations by people on Edition. Mainly people with the same car :)
So going by advice I've had, and a bit of other research and shopping around reading reviews etc. here's where I am.
Pads (In order of use):
Chem Guys Hex Yellow.
3M Yellow.
3M Black
Compounds/Polish (In order of Use):
Megs 105.
Scholl S17+
Megs 205.
Glaze:
Poorboys Black hole. (Use...
I was thinking the Polish (Click) and Finishing (click) pads from 3M, then maybe Poorboys SSR1 Followed by their Pro Polish then black hole glaze? (Its a dark blue car).
Just had a read. Very very good write up! I'm only part way through but already realised I probably don't need very harsh pads or anything like I thought I would. I'm only used to polishing carbon stuff at work with a hand polisher and 3M Fast cut.
I've applied a glaze to a car actually, but...
Was on the van for £119.99 down from £139.99. I got it for £100 as it was the last one and he was about to send it back! (Model No. STASP1)
It's an M14 spindle thread, has a little LED screen to show you the RPM. Goes from 700 to 3000 rpm.
Any of you recommend specifically any good compounds...
