loving the Hunter mode at the moment, still havenet finished the first one though as I keep trying to do it on Realistic without getting spotted...
also didn't realise I seem to have an extra gun I didn't know about. On the main menu, went down to extras and there was a gun there, clicked on...
I had one....sold it about a year or so ago but now I really want one again! I miss the fun factor and the fact that it's not quite so "serious" as the xbox etc if that makes sense...
HMV deal at the minute £160 - Wii, Wii Sport, Wii Sport Resort & Motion+ and Just Dance
Just a few...
Re: Blur
Yeah I got an e-mail about a beta key but never used it as I wasn't interested in the game lol.
Was when I was bored I thought I'd download it for something to do, glad I did now.
Anyone got the demo yet? It's an online multuplayer only demo.
I really wasn't interested in the game from the vids I've seen etc but after playing the demo I may be persuaded to get it.
It's like a mad mix between Mario Kart and Need For Speed with a perk system like COD:MW built in...
nice shots!
has the second pic been shopped? the DOF looks a little fake for some reason, around the rear spoiler I mean. It looks like the rear spoiler should be a little out of focus but it isn't....maybe it's just me lol
anyone got any experince of these?

My mate was thinking about it to connect both his laptop and 360 to his TV...
seems like quite a good idea to me :)
Taken from the RenaultSport FaceBook Page:
Today is the 20th Birthday of the Renault Clio and it's been 10 years since the Clio Renault Sport 172 was Launched :approve:
Pointless?.....maybe, but thought I'd share :)
8 days to go!
after putting a bit more time into the demo I'm actually quite looking forward to this :)
Never managed to do the whole demo without getting spotted on realistic but tbh it's not exactly hard to hide once spotted till things calm down a bit.
just read up on this as i didn't know about it....looks like i don't need an elite now lol
I have an 80gb portable drive so if i connect that to the xbox it will "corner off" 16gb of the drive for use with the xbox :) so as long as i connect the drive everytime I play I'm sorted (for now at...
true but I was under the impressiosn it's better when using a proper HDMI cable?
Also another thought, the current lead I use on the premium has the little optical out bit on it which I use for the audio...
How would that work if I was to use a HDMI lead on the Elite?!? I'm assuming there...
I've had my premium since the beggining of time so it doesn't have the hdmi port...
looks like most place are coming up at around the £200 mark. I've called Gamestation and they are offering £80 trade in for the premium so may go with them...
read the thread dude...want it for HD too which the premium is not...
plus the harddrive on it's own is approx £100 so makes sense to get a new console too :) (LOL at your edit! :))
I'll also need one of those data transfer cables to copy everything over...assume thats a quick call the MS...
I'm looking to upgrade from my Premium as I need the larger harddrive and will be getting a HD TV in the next few months...
Tesco have a Super Elite (250gb) with Forza 3, Crackdown, Halo 3 and Mass effect for £250 which is rather a good deal, I don't want any of the games though so can trade...

I feel the need for a new TV, I have an LCD but it's very old (no HD etc), the remote doesn't work and now the buttons on the set are starting...
you dont want a long shutter speed....it's too bright so will be a big white ball in the sky with no detail at all...plus it's constantly moving so will be a blur
one of mine, not the greatest effort by any means, shutter speed was 1/500 300mm f5.6 (it's been cropped a fait bit too)
Those that are my contacts on flickr may have seen these already but for those that aren;t i thought i'd share on here too...

so i made myself a ghetto light box :)
this is what i got....
and my fav...
im gonna get it but gonna finish watching the show first. just got to half way through the 3rd series...(got the set for chrimbo)
by the time i've finished the watching it'll hopefully drop to about £20 lol
good stuff, not sure my cam has a custom white balance job, definately has the sunny/cloudy settings etc will have a look later...
(I hardly shoot in auto anymore, was just an example to explain the point about metering I was trying to make :))
right ok...
so for whitebalance how would you determine what setting is required for what situation? or would it just be trial and error?
And metering is basically if you have the camera set to auto, whatever you point it at and hold the trigger button half way thats when it is used; for...
Ok, so after getting to grips with ISO, Aperature and Shutter speeds the next step for me is to understand more about whitebalance & metering.
I'm using an Olympus E400 and trying to find some pics to show you the available settings that can be adjusted but I'd assume to a certain extent...
Gorilla pods are great but can be bit of a fiddle to get a level picture...
I'd go with the bean bag idea, you can buy them specifically for cameras too...
