As for that article, some of the points are blatant scaremongering:
- You don't own the games you buy, only the license to play them
You've never 'owned' a game. Just like music you never owe the material, that belongs to the authors/publishers. You are licensed to play it, always have been...
I am highlighting how easy it is to start rumours. You are saying things are pretty worrying but if you go through life worrying about stuff you read on the internet that isn't from an official source you are going to end up with a tin foil hat rocking in the corner.
It takes 2 seconds if that. If you have never driven a paddle shift in your life, never even seen one or knew they existed and I sat you in the car would you instantly know how to change gear? Are paddle shifts bad because of this?
