    cheers matey :) yep, done a search n 172ff and cup spacing is the same apparently... its the 182's that differ was going to go with standard cup springs.. but these prolines came up at a good price lol!

    Currently purchasing new dampers for my 02 172 Have brand new genuine rears Do i just go for genuine 172 fronts, or should i go for cup ones? Same price so is it worthwhile? Currently got koni adjustable... dont like them at all :mad: Springs will be prolines if it makes any odds Cheers

    iirc.... you dont lose the gearbox oil when you remove the passenger side shaft.... think the outer part of the inner joint stays with the gearbox.

    so more wear on the inside than outside of the rear tyres is normal then? By more wear, i mean on mine i got 5mm outside, 3mm inside...not like tyres are 8mm outside and bald on the inside lol!

    Those i got... ds2000's ,old name for DS performance..... £45! Ktec sell them for double that.... and the D2500's are even dearer LOL Yes i know DS2500's are a better pad, but i couldnt justify £100+ on pads for a road car!

    no point on uprated pads in the rear of a clio... they hardly do owt... standard discs n pads FTW the brembo shop do brembo hc's at £45 DELIVERED for the pair... thats less than a local factors quoted for s**t discs! and i got some of these...

    Sounds just like mine.... anything over 50 feels dangerous Mine has koni adjustables, were wound right up hard when i got it. Used to hit a bump and go airbourne :S Im thinking about sacking them off in favour of a set of genuine dampers and springs. In regard to setting up the adjustables...
