Quite like that, Niall.
The Liver Building in the distance draws you in.
I went out with the camera on Sunday for the first time since I got back to UK.

Like that one, Adele.
On a vaguely similar theme, my first upload since early July!
Trying to work through 3000+ shots from my travels, so there will be better than this to come.
Taken tonight on my phone while out for a walk.

I've been following this thread since the start and really thought I'd see you last night - I mean how many of these can their be!
Pulled up at the lights next to a Byzanz M3 Saloon in a friend's 120d.
He went for it when the lights changed and the car sounded very nice indeed.
The colour...
Congratulations.
Some great shots of some really cool places.
That last shot of Antelope Canyon is amazing, such a surreal looking place.
I love the US, makes me miss it and I only left on Sunday!
Cracking write up, Dan.
Looks like an amazing trip and really makes me want to go back!
Everyone who likes driving should go at least once in their lifetime!
Agree with others so far.
My first DSLR was a 550D with kit lens.
There is so much to learn and you can take great shots with just the kit lens, just practice and learn.
I've upgraded lenses slowly over the last 2-3 years since buying the camera and I still like it a lot.
Really like these shots, Niall.
Good ideas and some really nice editing too.
I knew you were young, but didn't realise you were 15!
You really know your way around a camera.
Really like these.
Glad to see the kit your using too, same as I have and I've wondered if it'd be up to the task of racecar/bike panning shots or not!
I thought a lot about refurbs, but the spec I wanted was 650 quid brand new over here.
It wasn't that much cheaper for a refurb, so I ordered new today.
Delivery date is August 15th.
Getting rather excited!
I'm finally looking to switch from my crap old laptop to a new MBA.
I'm just wondering what spec to go for.
I'll be using it for photo-editing on Lightroom, essays/presentations for uni, films/apps/internet/CS/probably some p**n...
I'm wondering if the 4GB RAM and 128GB memory is sufficient...
I used to have an RB and loved it.
Yours is an especially good one!
However after doing a similar thing in Australia, I can safely say it is much, much more fun than the Clio.
Where in Oz are you heading?
You could always buy another one when/if you return too!
There are often 2 or 3 examples of each of the lenses mentioned on TP Classifieds.
Usually reasonable money too.
I love my 55-250 - even on a battered old 550D, I get some incredibly sharp shots with it!
