TIMO, dont go spitting your dummy out my son! Its only different peoples opinions, thats all. I mean, what a boring world it would be if we all agreed with each other, had the same choice in everything, i mean you would be driving a V6 and id be sha***g your misses!!
Eerrrr, ABS, multiplay CD, a proper spare wheel, rear head rests, oh yes and that all important climite control!! Maybe its just me but to loose these extras seems like a step backwards. If they made a lightweight V6 i would still have the one with all the toys.
We will have to agree to disagree. I think most 172 owners are happy with there choice and wouldnt be bothered about the cups little extra performance and handling in favour of the 172s extras. I still stand by my original statement that the cup was introduced to boost renault sales in this...
Jeremy, when are the new Vees arriving? Asked Floyed this week but he seemed none the wiser. Come on give us a clue, mines going to arrive in titanium, so when can i expect to see it???
Cant see the point in the cup myself and thats not just my opinion, as i found out at the Highbeach meet the other weekend. If your going trackdaying in it, every weekend, then fair enough, but how many of you guys (and girls) trackday your cups, be honest! I think the main reason behind Renault...
Yes mate. Roy, his a one man op. and calls himself top dent. Did a tiny repair on my misses 172 when she had it about a year ago so i assume his still up and running. Mobile job so hell come to your house or work. I was well pleased!! Didnt even need any paint, s**t-hot!!Ill post you his details.
Id like to know how Daz has got a clio v6 mk2 when Renault only opened the order book last week and delivery isnt until end of July/begining of August at the earliest?????
Jas your bang on, Mars red, this is one of the original V6 colours as well. Disagree about the side vents though!! I think they look naff, cheep and nasty. But its all down to personal taste.
Cant see any sign of it coming out of the cap. Im wondering how good the PDI was on my car!? I wouldnt trust some of these garage monkeys to blow a balloon up:p
Have you at any time had you handbrake and brake warning lights ever come up whilst driving? My have done it occasionally over the past few months, and when i checked my brake fluid level it was at the bottom of the resevior. Since ive topped it up the lights havent come on, but do you think its...
Pleased with that price! Mines got 6k on the clock & is uk supplied not an import so should comand at least £20000. Must go in the next 4 months, anyone interested??
Daz, at present they rekon that there is only about 300 or so v6s in the uk opposed to 400mk1 willies 300mk2s and 500mk3s. So sorry which one where you saying was the most exclusive???????:p
Each to there own i agree! Few other changes on the new one that they never mentioned. Same style wheels but 18"s instead of 17"s on mk1 also the exhaust is different, one of the improvements to bhp and decibells!
I agree about making the vents stand out, but i dont like them in the different colours (the vents that is). If i had one of the other colours id want them colour co-ordinated
mk1 v6 in Iceberg. I wanted mine in Nocturne, this was a very dark purple almost black metallic but they never produced in this colour in the end. TWR said they didnt have the facilities to spray this colour!?
Iceberg silver is renault sports current silver but for a short while on the phase one 172 (the one with aluminium bonnet) they sprayed them in Titanium silver. This looks alot brighter and next to Iceberg really stands out.
