Well owning one of the 4 you'd expect me to be biased in that direction and to an extent I am, but i'd kill for an acid yellow V6, the look of the thing, the speed and the noise would have me grinning like a 10 year old all the time.
The Trophy will do, after 5 years I'm still not even remotely...
Lolz, I can see that bit of spare land from our place, is about 30 seconds from us. Might be up for this, depends on work, will let you know nearer the time.
A tripod is always a good idea unless you have IS lenses, even then it's still going to be better turning it off and using a tripod, I got this during the recent lunar eclipse, the clouds don't help much, and as said, long exposures are a no-no, you'll just get a bright blob, results get better...
Doesn't mention a brand, i'll lay odds its one we've never heard of. I've just bought one of these, it's fooking huge, not a bad price either I thought, although the price has gone up in the last 2 weeks, I paid 249.99
1 for me, clever lighting actually lets part of the subject fade to black and that adds something. I see where people are coming from with 6 & 7, 6 is a fabulous picture but it's more down to photoshop skill than skill behind a viewfinder, pretty much the same with 7.
L glass makes me slightly moist ;)
I'm using a 24-105 and a 100-400, that 24-70 is mighty tempting - f2.8 - oh baby, yes please, the fun police will have my b****cks on a platter if I buy one though.
+1
and mucking out the pigeon loft / walking the whippet / ironing my flat cap collection / digging up bits of coal to eat & lots of other things that the southern nancies don't do.
Macro is one of those things i'd like to try but just can't justify the price of the lens, I know full well i'd buy one, use it twice then stick it in the kitbag and forget it.
It was the same with tilt and shift, liked the look of that then looked at the price of the lens' then it was more a...
You hate someone based on their mobile provider?
k, I can recommend a really good psychiatrist if you're interested?
Ahhh, now I see, South Yorkshire, yeah, that explains an awful lot.
According to an article on www.gpureview.com theres a problem with release 196.75 of the nVidia drivers, apparently some people have been having fan issues and even getting cards fried, it's so bad that nVidia have pulled that version of the driver.
If you have 196.75 drivers installed - bin...
I have a phone and mobile broadband dongle on the 3 network, always found customer service to be fairly decent. When I got my dongle/laptop deal the lappy fucked up when completing the windows install, they sorted me out on the phone straight away then someone else rang back 2 days later to see...
I normally get about 2.2 - 2.5 Mb/s with a 3 mobile USB dongle, at the moment its running faster than the crappy Virgin Media ADSL the missus got, thats averaging 0.5Mb - barstards are throttling us.
I used them the back end of last year, they didn't manage their expected delivery time but the machine was a good price and very well built - I'd happily recommend them to anyone (not in a rush).
