You can't just drill them out with a cone drill, the taper will be wrong, and unless you got the exact size drill you need, it won't fit down into the hole to drill anyway?
I've not had normal socketa explode using an impact wrench but I have split a few, this was working on farm machinery so some stuff is pretty f**king tight and rusted to try and undo
I would fix a piece of ply to the wall with plenty of fixings then mount the telly bracket to that. I've not dealt with thermalite a lot, but know you can get special fixings for it. I've used resin a lot and it's good stuff. Just make sure you're prepared and have the holes drilled and cleaned...
Don't be so stupid. They'll give you uour money back or offer an exchange if you send your faulty one to them but you'll have to prove it's the one you bought from them and not the dodgy one off your car.
You won't get insurance on an engine conversion if you cant get it on a 1.4. Pointless. Just save your money, wait till you're more grown up, then buy a faster car.
I wouldn't be going out and spending 5k on a toolbox,a bit proportion of that will be going on tolls you don't need. I'd buy what you need when you need it and build up a toolbox .
