    The answer is yes it is fixable. Will it be fixed through the insurance.. I doubt it. My old clio van (worth about 2.5k then) had a new rear quarter through the insurance..

    I really wouldn't bother. The chances of you putting it on more than once are slim and the chances of it getting damaged so someone can see what's under the cover are high.
