In my personal opinion it ruins it, because of the fact you've just stated. The 1*2 for me has always been more about handling and chuckability than outright speed. To spend 9k supercharging a Clio to then say full throttle launches aren't adviseable seems abit daft.
In all fairness that was almost 4 years ago when most 182s were worth probably 8/9k.
But yes I'm also not 17 anymore so spunking all my money on cars isn't my main priority anymore. The amount of Clios that get charged and then sold within in a few months proves that they either never work...
Nice upgrade. Love the PD diesels. I did look at these for a replacement for my 1.2 last year but I absolutely hated the interior. Atleast it wont rattle!
Sounds good but the only thing that would worry me is I only do about 3000 miles a year so a 1000 miles to get the best ou of them could take me a while lol.
After reading up alot on here I've got it to Toyo T1Rs or Uniroyal rainsports. Both seem to get mixed reviews and the price in the both is negligable, around 36/37 quid a tyre inc VAT.
Bought some 2118s yesterday, and I'm about to order some tyres for them off Camskill. I've read on here that people have run them with 195/50s. Will this be ok?
Cheers.
