17 plate Aston DB11 yesterday. Plus some low F1 car type thing that was black with two big orange stripes on it, and massive f**k off wing! (tbh I only caught the back of it as it drove by)
I'd get the cambelt etc done and keep it.
The thing with a weekend / track car is most people seem to think they'll be out every week doing laps, in reality though they may only use it twice a year for that. Plus even though it's a Cat C, it looks too good to track.
I'd remove the MR2 Turbo sticker out of the rear window, it'll look much better then. It does look way better now than when it was pink!
That steering wheel though, haha!!!😂
No maker has ever produced one, in either 1/43 or 1/18 scale.
If you ask Otto Mobile, https://otto-models.com/en/contact-us (a 1/18 scale resin model maker) they may consider it, especially if they get enough people asking. They have done a 172 cup in the past, so they wouldn't have to change...
I saw a GT40 this morning! (I mentioned in the other thread) but thought I'd say here too, obviously it wasn't a real one, but it sounded sweeet!!! and I love them!!
I saw a Ford GT40 this morning!! A f**king GT40!!!:hearteyes::hearteyes:It was maroon with black wheels with chrome outers, I wasn't that close to it but the rumble as it sat in the traffic was AWESOME!! Obviously I don't believe it's a genuine one, but 99% of them aren't, but it was...
I saw a Jaguar XJ Coupe last night, old P reg one in blue, I love them!! I think I lave a lust for the pillarlessness (yeah that's a word now, ha) as I love the Merc CE coupes from the 90's too!
I also saw the white with blue stripes Porsche 2.8 RSR that's round here the other day too, it's lovely!
You can't sell it on how it is now, unless Mr Magoo comes round! (mind you, you bought it :tongueout:) I'd get it looking mint as it's a stupidly rare car.
