In a come down from those, I saw a Nissan 300ZX last night.
I was waiting for the loser cruiser at St Paul's to go to the station after the gym & I heard police sirens, then I heard them honking for someone to get out of the way, as they approached they floored it round this white R reg 300ZX...
Have you been to see any yet ? or driven one ?
I think you're being a bit fussy personally, tyres & exhaust etc are no biggie, even small dents aren't.
I had always wanted one! I went down Chadwell Heath in Essex & a place had three silver Phase 1's in for £23k each, un-registered etc. I got mine about four years after that.
And when I went to see it, I'd never even seen a Phase 1 in blue.
On the A127 on Sunday I saw a 1970's BMW 3.0 CSL, in that bright yellow colour they did. I loved it! There's also a place there that sells old Corvettes, I spotted a couple of Stingray's out side. I love those!
This morning I heard a big rumble, turned round & there was a massive Dodge Ram there...
Yeah sat nav is very rare on them. You might have the wrong roof aerial / antenna base ? It should be flat and is different to non sat nav cars. Check the wiring too, it should run up the passenger side rear pillar.
To be honest though, even with updated maps, it's pretty pants these days.
If the car is everything you want, go for it! There are tons of rough ones out there and a lot of sellers never keep on top of servicing especially when it's cambelt time etc. The one you've seen sounds fine and like it's worth buying.
Don't get fooled into the stories of 'complete minters'...
