Tbh you'll probably spend more money making it look nicer than you think but as someone said if you go at it the right way it has potential :)

Greenstuff are fine for lower powered cars, have been on my car for two years and cant complain, very good.
For 2 litre apps though redstuff are great, although initially need warming up in my experience.
Beaten to it ^ Was going to suggest worn brake pads...have a look if you can and see if they are worn, if they are down to the metal then thats what causes the high pitched noise when you're braking.
Yeah, it feels alien switching to harnesses because of the lack of play in them but whenever i'm in someone else's car it feels like you're barely held in..only annoying thing I would say is having to adjust them when it's cold and you put a bigger coat on and can't fit in anymore lol.
Looks good! I was the same when I first went for a drive with mine fitted, you feel really restricted but you get used to it after a while. I dont think I could go back to normal seatbelts now.
