My dad has this bracket, bought for the same sort of price a few months ago. I would never have bought it myself, it doesn't look much in the picture, seems sturdy enough though and has one of the original 42" big plasmas on it and it's been fine so far.
LOL nooo! Annoyingly I've pushed my need for house purchase back another 6 months so could buy a Zed now. But now I'm going to try for a bigger house so will need the extra savings for that :(
I've got Contisport 3's on mine Nick, done about 7/8k so you can check the wear on them next time.
I had PE2's on the 172, staggering amount of grip in the dry and wet and little wear for while I had them.
Hard to compare the Contis but I went for them because of their wet weather grip and...
Dave is your computer in your spare room and where's your router? Possible to wire up the computer to the router? O2 routers aren't that bad from experience.
I did that once when I was 17, except she stopped in the road after pulling away. I wasn't "treating her with too much respect" though lol muppet. Not sure how you do it twice!
How long will it take you to save the extra spent on the car by savings on insurance, tax and fuel?
Keep the 172 or do the above to save money.
My 330ci was a little less to insure than my modded 172.
I have the 1010i's and the sound quality is brilliant, remarkable given the price they were. The 2000 series are even better and it seems the 2050i's will be the same and pack a big punch.
Just be wary of the amp power, you don't want your amp to be clipping as it will ruin the speakers. I...
Never had a problem with Richer Sounds, I don't listen to their sales pitch as I just go in for what I want but their customer service has always been very good.
I've not heard the 2050i's but if they're like the 2020i's they'll be great.

Thanks for that Dave! That makes a lot of sense.
I won't splash out on too much quantity just yet, will buy some and see how I get on with it all. Hopefully give it a full going over next weekend then and then maintain. Would be nice to see it looking good before I sell it.
Good to know...
I'll stick with Citrus Power then (maybe dilute it), Tardis, Iron X and just use Black Hole and leave the polish for now. I'd rather decrease/mask swirls especially as it'll be for sale soon.
Oh right I thought Iron X and Tardis would be used at every wash. I'm unlikely to wash it anymore than...
I've just realised I'll be spending about £100 on detailing stuff which is much higher than I was intending to. What could I cut out of here to start with and then add at a later date?
Citrus Power, Tardis, Iron X, Gtechniq P1, Black Hole, Lime Prime, Natty's Blue.
Bearing in mind I'll need...
Thanks Dave. I've seen Ironx mentioned a lot here so will get some of that too then if that'll make a big difference. Will look at the P1 videos and into different pads tonight.
Will Natty's Blue not protect enough? Will something like Lime Prime make a big difference?
I'm cautious of not...
Cheers for the info.
Just logged into my hotmail after some months/years, everything's been deleted so it's like starting afresh and so I'm now using Outlook. I very rarely send personal email from a computer though. It's quite bland and basic at first glance, doubt it'll take over my gmail...
Dear Detailing Deidres
I would like some assistance in checking I have picked the correct products please. I'm not after a full correction, I just want it to look better than it is, ie. less light swirls, less dull and a bit more shine. I don't have a machine polisher and nor do I want to yet...
You'll have to give them a reasonable amount of time to refund you. Give it a week I'd say.
They should never have taken money without informing you though. That could be worth a complaint to the ombudsman. Probably won't get you anything extra but worth it to possibly give them a bollocking...
