EDIT: If you're using the standard water temp sensors, that gauge will pretty much be a 3-stage event
cold -> warm -> FUUUUUUUU!

Gearbox - how much effort to cleanly shift to 2/3/4? Synchros aren't the strongest
Engine - Belts & dephasers done on time, by someone good?
Exhaust - If OEM, they're made of cheese.
