That brings back some good memories of our trip a few weeks back! There is nothing better than a good roadtrip in a great car is there!
Did you camp up at the top of the hill at the Nurburgring? I am sure that looks like the spot where we camped :)
In the petrol station in Bunny around 6pm, an 04 Blue 182 with stripes. Looked a bit odd though as it was dark blue rather than Racing! The second one I've seen with that combo recently.
Ay up Mate, long time no speak!
Didn't realise you were in a Clio these days!
I was at the Nurburgring a couple of weeks before you by the looks of it! Superb circuit isn't it!
Went for a beer on Thursday night and while walking back to my car saw a doppelganger! Another RB182 parked near Pizza Express in town. I pulled out of the car park I was in and followed it through town for a while. Bet that is a rare convoy!
Yep we said the same thing, it must have been a fatality for them to close the track for that long. I nipped to the shops in Adenau just as the track re-opened for about 3 seconds too - gutted!
We're you in the convoy with the GT4, EVO etc etc? Admired your car several times in the various car parks waiting for the track to re-open!
Thanks for the positive replies, it was a mint trip and hope to do something similar again next year!
No pics of the blondes on my camera...
Two cars, 3 mates and 9 countries in week! What an awesome trip that was!
Started with an epic 500+ mile drive from Nottingham to the Nurburgring on Friday morning! We got up bright and early to find the Ring closed until 6pm for GT Racing which turned into 'Closed for the day!' However we...
Are those plates definitely a legal size?
I know it's been discussed a million times or more, but I fancy getting some that size but don't fancy explaining them to Plod every 5 minutes :)
I think they are wrong to be honest! Pretty sure the previous owner had them retro-fitted and he was cross-eyed! ;)
They are mint until you hit the back of the car. It's a bit of a disaster under the number plate but still looks good overall :)
Here are a few shots of mine. Done 2,200 miles now and heading to the Nurburgring and the Alps next weekend.
Pretty much standard except the slightly darker wheels and now on 62k miles!
I've always thought RB is the best colour for 182s so it was the only colour I was ever going to choose :)
Re: Latest Nurburging trip.. rode with GTR's test driver, :boink:ed on track at Flugp
Great write up and I can't wait for my trip there next weekend! I have never been there before so will be great to lose my Nurburg virginity!
I won't be shagging on the track though! My mate who is my...
I'm sure it's been covered before, but can't see anything recent.
So what is the highest mileage Clio Sport on here or that anyone has seen then?
I did find this thread with the 100k 172, so can anyone beat that?

Haha what I meant was it doesn't like love making with other 182s and wearing dresses at weekends ;)
Seriously though no accident damage and very detailed history is what I was getting at :)
I purchased my 182 FF, 2 owners with 59k last month at £5k. It's a 54 plate and a really straight car, belts done and well cared for so it's certainly possible to get a decent 182 for not much more than 4.5!
