Sorry for stealing the thread, but where can I buy these from? Any idea how much?

I had a new battery fitted a couple of weeks ago and my immobiliser problems have now stopped (for the time being).

They look great, be good to see them on the car.

Interesting read that. Sounds like the crappest day! That oil filter looks like it's been on there for a while! I reckon once you sort the obvious things it'll be fine, the banging from the exhaust clamp will make you think its a lot worse than it probably is.

They're not proper blanks either by the looks of it, just covers.

Check the shocks aren't leaking - specially the rears. Mine was very skittish when my driver's rear shock went.

There is nothing to do at Billing Aquadrome really unless you like the worlds shortest go-kart track and feeding the ducks.

Taken out the DIY induction setup and refitted the standard airbox - fancied a quieter change.

The local garage have decided that they think its the battery and that it could be the original. Collect it tonight so hopefully the problem will be solved. However, if the car won't start again I will be replacing the starter motor as mentioned by several of you above. Cheers for your help...

I might pop to this as it is only a minute from my new house. Not sure it will be as good as last years though - Duxford was epic!

It'll be given to the local garage and hopefully they can sort it, I can't be bothered to fiddle around in the dark after work this week. I'll point them in the starter motor direction, although I'm sure they will figure that out themselves. Thanks for your help guys. :)

Just realised an error in my original post. The alternator was fitted by 519 a few months ago, I haven't replaced the starter motor.

I've tried using jump leads from another car though and this made no difference at all. Could a knackered battery still be at fault? It seems to be attached fine to me.

Hi guys, My car has done this quite a few times but I always managed to fiddle around and get it started before, or leave it over night and it would start the next day, thing is there never seemed to be one particular thing that made it start - more luck than anything. The last time it happened...

Fitted a new pair of sidelights after work this evening, they are much brighter than the old pair and the colour now matches the other lights so I'm happy with that. Would recommend these if anyone is changing their sidelights any time soon...

I had similar happen to mine quiote a while ago now. I reset the immobiliser with my key using instructions I found somewhere (can't remember where, sorry!) and it's been working fine ever since.

When my tensioner failed, turning the steering wheel to a near lock would cause a high pitch noise, as the aux belt was rubbing against the tensioner. Might be worth checking the aux belt for any visible marks. :)

Get your wheels balanced as said above. Maybe you've got uprated mounts fitted causing more vibration?
