Sure the remap hasn't smoothed the 'kick' out? That's what tends to happen as the map give you more torque below 5k
Still idle shouldn't be lumpy, I remaped my cup as it was standard and it idled smooth
You think? I have some collinites (can't remember which version off hand) and rate epg longevity above it..... Epg is super durable, but lets be fair, who doesn't wax within 3 months or so.... You'll end up with some pretty heavy fall out within that time
I've always followed the less is more kind of route. Usually just fit (decent) coilovers. Then after that just make it super clean. Cba with zorst/filters and the like, the noise just pissed me off, nothing worse than driving whilst knackered with some crappy ktec stealth booming away. I've had...
You'll find no real love for the 197 on CS :(
Anyway, never driven a Trophy, but have had x2 172 Cups, a 182, standard 197 now a 197 Cup (keep up!)
Depends, if you prefer your cars direct, bit old school feeling a Trophy is for you 100%. The 197 is bit more rounded, nicer to live with day to...
Behave!, spax are budget! You've said this about my h&r's before on guppys car. I bought them second hand off here, ran them six months then sold the car. It was only the front damper iirc?? Remember Eddie on here ? He had spax on his DCI. He removed them after a few months, the reason, knocked...
But be careful. Seems the later 200's with the 'RS' badge in the front bumper have new designed front top mounts. Nobody makes springs/coilovers that will fit them (yet)
Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
Just looking though them photo's, how do the fairly standard ish ph2s do against the 200's Rape em, or pretty even?
As mentioned, when buying i only ever buy standard, or say with coilovers, but with the standard stuff included. When modding you massively narrow the potential buyers market imo. I'd overlook most on here, I don't want somebody elses modifications :(
No problemo.
www.auto-paint.co.uk should be able to sort it, cheap too. Might be worth giving them a ring. I've had the Renault Anthricite, and satin black and both matches have been spot on.
Hello
Over the next few weeks i'm going to attempt to fix a scuff on one of my 197 speedlines. I already have the paint in base coat, but according to auto-paint, it should have a satin lacquer, but this is proving hard to get hold of? They have said if i leave the base coat finish this...
