Hello geeks
Looking for a new Pre-wash soak type thing to go round the car before washing to soften bugs etc.
I used to have some Valet Pro Orange Crush which seemed to be pretty good, however this ran out the other month. Don't use snow-foam been there done that, bit of a gimmick imo ;)...
^ Far too low at the front. The reason kw and the billies/H&R don't lower loads the back is because it needs suspension travel........ Only the cheap kits slam... That should tell you all you need.
Any way agree with the 182 issue. Only a slight mod needed. I had B14's on my 172 cup and...
Win!
However, this picture shows one thing i dislike about 197's.... the front bumper needs another 2" on the bottom of it, so high compared to the side skirt :( MK2's had it spot on with a cup splitter.
Epic! I missed the original post :(
Looking at them pics, your car looks spot on! Actually makes me miss my BG. Think it looks ace with the black wheels :)...... better than 2118's and Turinis imo ;)
Try these guys
http://www.mswuk.com/
They import them, thats where everyone (ktec and the like) source them from ;)
I've sourced a rear shock and a front damper cover from them. Be warned they are a bit of a pain to deal with, but i got the parts in the end....
BTW the front...
Anything that move will wear simple as that really. I looked into it but found no answers :(
Think Fred might know somebody? Or what about that company that rebuilds Trophy dampers? BG Motorsport iirc?
So looking about £200 ish? Just toying with the idea at the min. I get good results off the PC its just takes forever to do a whole car. Do Rotary's come in 110/240v guise?
Had a PC (porter cable) for about 4 years or so, its great but, lets be honest, its a bit tiresome/slow.
Possibly thinking of making the jump to a rotary. Doesnt need the best or anything, just a nice solid one. Any suggestions? Also would my existing backing plates fit the rotary, or would i...
Your missus is fine tbh, bit of the Anne Hathaway about her? (i'm probably due an eye test though)
Anyway, good progress, hope it was cheap as it looked a bit sorry for itself lol!
Panther black?
f**k that its enough to make you chunder! However, its bloody awsome stuff.
Started the prep on the ZS Friday night. This involved whipping off the wheels, full arch clean and wheels. I've tried to tackle the wheels before with the usual Billberry/Tardis combo. They come up OK, but the wheel...
Not on the clio/ The front bodies are different, as too are the rears. I've never had any issues with the 3 sets i've had on various Clios, some covering good miles. Dont believe everything Danny ells you ;)
Billstein B14's
H&R's
However, GAZ are utter toss. I had them years ago (2004...
lol there are only a couple of quid form i4 detailing ;)
I already have a chemical resistant one, but its full of degreaser, i'll buy a new one. Do you use it neat?
Just about to purchase this magic potion, going to get the eco pack. Do you apply it with a trigger spray? I presume I need a bottle and chemical resistant trigger spray? :o
