Laughing hard at some of the fools in this thread with points/written off cars on their license and moaning about insurance. I'm 18 and pay £950 on a 1.2 clio, which I still think is extortionate tbh.

It was for sale on here a while back(1-2 months ago), in mint condition, i.e not crashed. Sent an email to the owner and never got a reply.

Sorry to bump the thread but this car lives about 3 doors down from me. Still has the cliosport sticker in the top of the back window. Owned by a girl that was a year above me in school, it still looks exactly like this matt! And it looks good too.

I'm pretty sure it'll cost more than 1800 to purchase a new GT over a used 197 anyway? Would cover the insurance, unless your paying by finance that is. The GT just really doesn't do anything for me.

Just save for a better car all together mate, that's what I'd do. And unless your going to an RS, I'd suggest saving up and moving away from French cars. If I don't get an RS I'll definitly be going VAG.

Yeah I've heard some bad stories aswell. I just find Alan to be abit of an arsehole, along with 100% of his employees.

Was meant to be playing tonight aswell, but twisted my ankle abit at work today so just went to the gym instead. Pem tyres is a nightmare, properly hate going there, only really do because I get everyhting for free through my grandads firm luckily.

I always turn the ignition, wait a few seconds, then start it up and it starts first time everytime. Only do this though as it's a habit from using the works diesel vans everyday.
