tonight the car had a new drivers side front wheel bearing,it was an absolute pain in the ass to do but at least its done now.had a new abs ring also as other one disintegrated .

so the bearing is done,it was indeed the correct bearing (thanks to all who helped sort inc daz) it took 4 and half hours in total, 2 hours just to get driveshaft out of hub with at one point a sledgehammer,a puller ,and wheel nuts in there holes pushing on the hub all at once lol. abs ring was...

Managed to get the bearing today. I have gone with the bigger of the two as daz has recently purchased and fitted same one and he has 60mm hub suspension mountings.i only paid 46 quid instead of 70 quid.i am fitting it later tonight and will post update.

Sorry yeah I meant the space between the hub bolts for shock .just checked with wheel of this time and they are 60mm So I will need the bigger more expensive bearing I'm guessing.thabks for all help and I am appreciative.

Just measured and it seems like it's 61mm so I'm guessing it's a 60mm hub. So It will defo be the more expensive bearing ?

update, i had my clutch done on friday by engine dynamics.the car was left with them at 8am sharp and i had a phone call at 3pm saying it was done. i had a 5 puck paddle clutch fitted which i have been reliably told by andy at engine dynamics tat they are good for 300 ftlbs torque. i also had a...

also had my exhaust altered as there is a restriction in it which can cause a little to much back pressure according to andy @ engine dynamics.so this was removed and also the centre box has been removed . and the pic below is of it fixed and sorted ! does pickup better and sounds...

had the clio weighed at local weigh bridge today. came in at this...................... this weight is with myself in the car and i weigh 82kgs !!!

today i fitted some smd reverse bulbs (super bright white light),and also fitted a direnza alloy rad.

this morning i cleaned up the gearbox mount (after removing it) and sprayed it in alloy flavour spray paint. definately worth the 20 or so mins to do it

finally got round to fitting my ferodo ds2500s and wow,what a huge difference. epic pad. had to heat cycle them though as per the instructions and they were bellowing smoke and discs were glowing lol

yesterday i went about fitting headlight washer blanks (£21 quid of ebay) and also some intake ports where the fogs are. really easy to fit the two lots of items and and i polyurethaned both in place and worked out well.
