I've heard about coming in after 20 or so mins (think James told me) to stop overheating/overworking things. I was just wondering if some people would stay out for ages and then others will have less of a chance to go on.
Is filming allowed here at all?

Sir_Dave (saxo)
beefy (clio 172)

How does the open pitlane work with more cars present than are allowed on the track? Is it like a one in one out situation?
I've just looked through my quotes, and HIC were a couple of quid cheaper than my Flux renewal but with a £50 lower excess and protected no claims.
When I rang up Flux later to see if they could lower from the renewal price they sent me, the only way to protect my NCB was to put me on £150...
Re: Possible new splitter found!!
Excellent find!
I'd been looking around for a thin megane one with no luck so was going to get a Pug 307 one. Will be getting this now!
Only from the various stuff I've read on CS, I'd go with the above.
Also a 54 182 should have had the belts done, would a 55 Trophy have them done yet?
No worries. I've editted my post a bit as that might help a bit better. I think its from 4yrs NCB, I forgot to ask last year when I had 4 but I know most online companies want 4 to protect and 5 to guarantee.
Flux have been great this year, a bit gutted if I have to leave them, excellent...
Interesting! I'm in exactly the same situation with Flux, never mentioned sending proof to me.
Part of my problem is that I want protected NCB and the schemes for Flux that do that have higher excesses than I want to pay. Said they just couldn't do a lower quote but they'd halve the premium...
I rang Flux yesterday and asked them to beat a price, they just asked how much. Couldn't get near it either :(
Never heard of a company ask for proof of a quote.
You're right Neat, set the excess to a figure you wouldn't really want to pay anymore than. The excess of the policy I want to take out is £350, I'd probably pay up to £500 to not have a claim on my policy and fix it myself if the worst happens, but I wouldn't want a £500 excess because if the...
Heard this happen to some before. I asked the guy on the phone 3 times to be sure if that was the total excess and no compulsory. Companies kind of make you find out yourself online and its normally the last thing you hear on the phone.
I was on the phone to them earlier and got the dial tone...
Depends if there is a noticeable difference between 5yrs and 6yrs NCB.
Yes depending on the car, you may have to pay a bit extra for the last couple of months, but depends if that'll be offset by the saving of an extra years NCB.
But then if you are able to get a bit of a refund from your...
You might get a couple of months insurance back once the claim is disputed and all costs recovered by your insurance company. I think most companies work on a kind of pro-rata way so you get (months remaining - 2 months)/12 of your annual payment. Personally, I'd freeze/suspend it as said above...
Some high ones in here, don't think I could live with it personally.
Am I right in thinking, excess is only payable if you claim and not payable if just a third party claims? Because I don't remember ever paying exess on my first accident as I didn't claim and there seems to be no excess...
What are people's excesses on their insurance policies?
I've always tried to have a reasonable amount, around £400 normally because of younger driver compulsory.
This year my two best quotes differ by £40, but the slightly more expensive one has £150 lower excess which makes it a winner for...
In my experience, my insurance company only let me take out my audio and nothing else from the car.
I'd want paying out for the price of a replacement car plus the cost of replacing the mods so you can get a similar mileage/age clio modded to how your written off one is from the price they pay...
Always a top update every time I look in here! Induction is looking good!
I had Eagle F1s on mine all round and they were great, traction in the dry was fantastic but I thought they were lacking a bit in the wet compare to a set of PE2s (although PE2s were 205s) I had on the front. But then my...
I think I may have just been expecting too much based on previous years differences. Still a good price for a better policy.
LOL major fail by me, didn't even clock when I visited your website the other day, I just assumed from the name that Sky had bought an insurance company lol must have...
Thanks Ollie.
I just don't understand the difference in telling them I'll put the seats back in if I take out the policy or if I had put them back in earlier today and kept them in, I wouldn't have had to declare it and they wouldn't have known.
Sky was the first one I called, was cheaper...
