Run RCA cables and amp remote wire from the HU to the boot down the drivers side, you should find the plastic trim between the carpet and door unclips and you can tuck the cables in. I didn't have to unscrew the driver's seatbelt bolt but it may help I think.
Run power cable from the battery...
I had selected that but when my iPhone is connected to the HU, the iPod from the phone is switched off and controlled by the HU, so think that's why those options weren't helpful as it was playing through the iPod feature on CoPilot.
Maybe it's because I selected the volume setting while it...
Bearings? Suspsension arm not bolted in tight?
Jack the car up and move the wheel back and forth to see if it's loose?
If it was bearings there's normally a loud groaning/whirring noise at 40mph+ in my experience.
I've got CoPilot and quite like it, works well.
Only issues I have with it are that because I connect my iPhone to my HU with a proper cable, I can't adjust the iPod controls with CoPilot, which is fine except it seems to mean I can't adjust how the voice commands lower the music/mute it etc...
V6 at Mercedes Ascot around 1.30-2ish, think you saw me as I turned of the London Road towards you.
172 in Staines around 1-1.30. Only think it might be a rep as rear bumper looked non-sport in my wing mirror :S
I love the E39 but I don't think that kind of styling suits it in my opinion. Would prefer a standard sport personally.
Although, that said, I'd still oggle that if it drove past!
There is a handbrake adjustment in one of the brake changing guides IIRC.
If you need discs and pads, Renault Wolverhampton on ebay were the best price when I bought mine a couple of months ago, about £120ish for standard Renault parts inc. bearings already in discs.
Sounds immense!
Really can't wait for this, only F1 CE has been a good console play after many years playing the Grand Prix series, but 2010 sounds very very good.
Only concern is that I didn't really like Grid for the 24hours I owned it. Maybe I didn't give myself enough time to get to...
^ strength of the wheel was my main concern, but most of that bit of the depth of the rim is straight I think. Will see if I can get better pics tomo.
Will get my hammer out and see what I can do too!
That's what I was thinking too.
My renewal is very soon with Adrian Flux, hope they don't try to quote me a stupid price too. Have been perfect so far.
Yeah mate, iPhone pic, arm in air while bending over so the wheel face didn't touch the ground, trying to focus and hold my hand still lol
block of wood and hammer a safe fix? sounds very Clarkson lol
I've just noticed, in the picture, the whole wheel looks a bit squished as pic seems dodgy but it's just the bottom lip that is bent towards the centre of the wheel.
Hmmm, so best to ask around companies to see if it can be fixed then as it doesn't seem definite? Wanting to sell it but rather...
Was like it when I bought the car so I just swapped it with the spare and forgot about it.
Easily fixed? Car passed MOT with it on but was noted on MOT advisory as bent.
That happened to me at 6k, outer edge on near side front wheel bald but rest of the tyre and off side was just legal so they were in need of replacement. I just put it down to roundabouts and 1st 6 months ownership.
If there is a fair amount of tread across the rest of the tyre, then suppose...
Blonde in a Monaco 172, 2 silver ph2s, 1 silver ph1
In Guildford yesterday between 3 and 4.30. All around the roads between the A3 and town centre side.
Width wise is no issues, I have 195/45/16 fronts and 205/45/16 rears. But it's personal preference, I prefer it because it feels much more stable through longer bends but does cause a bit of understeer when really pushing it round tighter corners like roundabouts.
With regards to the back...
