Yeah, that's no problem, will make sure I bring it on Tuesday. I think John and his mates said they were ok for that too, so hopefully we'll have enough to commit.

Similar happened to me with Elephant one year, renewal was £480, new customer price was £340. Was funny when they asked me who offered them the £340 quote to price match "errr......you" lol
A bit of a joke but some people must just accept the renewal without checking and get mugged!
Much better debadged. Wheels don't look bad actually, but 328i Sport rims look better IMO. I like the colour too.
E36 seems to be quite popular on the forum over the last couple of weeks, a lot of threads and pics making me wonder if I should have bought a 328i instead of my 172, just love the...
:dead:
I saw a new-ish fiesta in almost identical to that the other day, blue with orange bumpers and spoiler, and blue CC'd wheels with Ford written where Clio is.
Are they trying to copy some particular car or are they blind/part of a cult?
If Trading Standard say you are legally allowed a refund, then personally I would want my money back despite the repairs. Like it's been said, plenty of 172s out there.
The bit that is directly above the blade in the centre, should attach on the blade and I think I used the 3rd clip down on the right which clips onto the top of the bit on the centre. Pretty sure that's what I did with mine. Then you hook the wiper arm through the gap between the two pieces and...
My mate has them on his mk5 GTI. The grip is unbelievable, and cope with the 270bhp and 310+ft/lbs so so well.
My Uncle also had them on his R32, loved them, he got them due to all the recommendations he had read and was not disappointed. Bit of a shame they don't make them in 172 sizes.
That's not too bad IMO, albeit percentage wise it's a lot but for some reason I had quotes of £300 in my head. I think I'm having one of those days, think I'm completely wrong about turning off auto wipers too.
If you turn the auto wipers off, then intermitant is adjustable should work fine and the speed can be adjusted using the sensitivity ring I think. I could be wrong but I'm sure someone can confirm if this is true or not.
Lol @ avatar of duncan, you oot Dan?
Worst fake excuse for being an undercover chav!
However, that Korsa (guessing that's what the car is due to the plate) has 4 xorsts, like an m3 or ferrari so it must be sik fast y0. Init brap and all dat s**t baaad people say.
I think it may be 428 or 431, check in the guides sections for 172/182 differences or 172 info/buyers guide, it's in one of those threads.
But be careful, Ollie82 found out there was 4/5 different shades of Monaco Blue for 2003, so will need a paint shade sample book and match it with one of...
As said above, legally have to tell them but very very unlikely they'll put your premium up mid way.
With regards to renewal, the increase (if any) will vary company to company. I got 3 points when I was 17, and was charged a bit extra till the last time I declared them with the companies I'd...
My mates laughed at me for having one on my keys, but then they realised they didn't have a bottle opener in the house so needed mine lol
A bottle opener and torch combined would be great!
Maybe ring DVLA to see if it was SORN last year.
If it's been in a bump though, why bother changing the clocks?
It also went for 4 months in 2008 with no MOT, bit odd.
Sorry mate, meant it sounds good from others that said after seeing it. Hopefully hear it soon, I'm looking doubtful for the Staines meet next week, so prob the meet after that.
Or driven about with no MOT and mileage was hitting 70k now so garage/previous owner changed clocks to get higher value for it?
Any previous tax discs/service history etc to suggest the car was driven during 2009?
Maybe post up the mileages but more than likely clocks were changed before the last MOT was issued if was only 1000 less miles in 2008.
Have you got the name and address of the previous owner on your V5 green slip? Maybe find his number/visit if local and ask him if he knows about the clocks etc?
Massive handling difference between standard set up and the V-Maxx coilovers that I have. But yes ride is harder, I'm not too fussed about it personally but it is noticeably harder and less comfortable. You can feel the smallest bumps in the road. I think more expensive coilovers are better on...
That's a normal phase 2 172. In Monaco Blue.
Auto wipers and lights are probably just switched off then. My other post explains how to turn them back on and will say in the manual.
