Just to clear it up- IIRC the revised gearbox has revised gear ratios - there was no revision to make the TL4 gearbox any stronger- the gearboxes are as prone to going on an 06 plate as an 08 plate- Its about how they have been driven & how much abuse the syncros have taken- & OR the fragility...

197 Cups are a bit poverty BUT there isnt a HUGE difference between a FF- If you take a BASE spec R27 & a Specced 197 Cup Bar the keycards they are nearly identical.... Also you can get speedlines on a 197 cup- you cant on a cup you cant on an r27- take your pic- Cup...

The best cups are usually high spec 57/08 plates- USUALLY glacier white with speedlines / AC & recaros- all around 8k are the best ones- down to 7k for something average R27 depending on colour & miles is from 6500 up to 8500- I would get recaros- Poventy spec seats arent worth the agro- Steve

Once you get the settlement ask dealer for trade in / PX price on another car- They will clear your finance & you pay your negative equity to them or they pay you the positive equity- what ever the difference If its positive equity they will take it off the value of the new car simples- S
