You're now asking what pads and polish you should be using..!? I think you should get some serious practice in on your own car/scrap-panels before charging someone £100+ for a swirl removal detail.
Lots of...
Dawn, a few tips RE Black Baron.
- never point it at your face... (unless you're being photographed!!)
- clear the tube before connecting the machine and turning it on; the little packaging pellets find their way in the tube, and, if turned on, turns the thing into a sub-machine gun for 10...
They're nice cars, yeah. But, like you say, damned expensive! I think the tax is £400 for the year.. The owner is averaging 23mpg (my S3 used to do this mind (but, I was heavy footed!)) and he's having to top the oil up weekly.
I was taken out in it this evening when we went for the night...
Evening guys (..and girls!)
A little report for you to browse..
Mazda RX-8 – Enhancement and Protection Detail
Take one Mazda RX8 and give it to a valeter to ‘buff to a shine’.
Unfortunately, this one had been butchered to an inch of its life. The last person to put polish to...
It wasn't ideal, but, I used a weak G101 mix. I find this is too harsh for 'everyday' leather.. It did the trick on this occasion though, and, as soon as G101 residues were wiped away, a damp (but not 'wet') cloth was used to pick up any smears and existing traces of the product.. 10 mintues...
Pressure washing interior carpet!!?
Sure I will pressure wash the door-shuts.. Only after I have agitated them though with various brushes.
I've been known to pressure wash floor mats (..once out of the vehicle) in the summer months, as, an hour later, after vaccing, they're dry. I wouldn't...
Many thanks all. It's appreciation like this that spur me on to write more and more reports
Tardis, hmm. I'm not sure. If not, Im sure you can pick samples/varying sizes up off of EBaY? To be on the safe side though, personally, I'd visit my local AutoSmart rep.
Tell me about it...

Get yourself to your nearest Costo Steve. I forget the exact price nice, but I think its 30 mf's for ~£15.
Many of uses, too. I'm happy to use them for polish/glaze removal, too. Then for your everyday interior, enginebay, wheels etc. Quite a short pile too them. Once dirty, bung'em in the wash...
Whats With The Captical Letter At The Start Of Every Word, Arron?
LimePrime can give some impressive results.. Esp. if applied by DA/Rotary..
Use it before waxing, yes. This sets the base and allows waxes to bond properly. If you're to use it after washing, you will strip previously applied...
HOLY MOLY! That's bigger than mine! (.....:o)
A nice collection Maggie. Some serious mullar been spent there!
What is the SV wax? And, is that Cleaner Fluid spotted with the AG/Werkstat kit? If so, thoughts on using it??

Don't worry about it Russ.. Here I am 'treading feet' on your forum anyway, so,:approve: - if in doubt, we could always team up at somepoint.
I was in Ashby Forville today, going back tomorrow. Then Saturday and Sunday I'm in Market Harborough, so, yeah, pretty much all that area. (most...
~£7k I think, gally.
It isn't a daily driver though, it needs to be taken off him by a Collector that will care for it, and, store it; much like the current owner has.
Fair enough, spruce a vehicle before a sale, but, why not have it done and get the benefit from it yourself, as opposed to...
Thanks Jamie ,
So very annoyed this morning.. I should be kitting up on site now with a rather nice Porsche Carrera 4S. However.. The boiler blew up this morning at home, so, here I am waiting for the emergency call out man to come and fix us up. FAAAIL! :(
Stunning, isn't it? A great example of the classis RR. Wonder if it's sold yet...?!
Typically, LR has quite soft paint.. This was only an enhancement detail, so, a single pass with a mild abrasive by machine.. I could have taken things a step further using a stronger compound, but, this wasn't...
