there really aint a lot of room behind the dash as i was looking to fit one myself behind there as the hu i wanted didn't have an internal amp. even the smallest amp i found (was a genesis) wouldn't have had enough ventilation tbh

highly likely if both left/rights had gone id say maybe something else only one IC:eek: that is going to be a pig to fit (also could you tell us where from if they do alpine ones)

perceived loudness is what the human ear thinks is twice as loud but every 3dB is actually twice a loud

it's a torx 20 size bit i think you need

3dB is twice as loud but your hearing will make you think it is twice as loud with a 10dB boost

maybe set them all to the lowest as making them louder might make them sound s**t

sounds like you have killed an IC tbh. not really a fixable part as i'd guess they are a reall pig to get hold of and a pig to fit

i've got logitech z-2200 and they are real loud but are really sq at mid volumes 200wRMS is an awful lot of power for pc speakers the harmon kardons are 10 Wrms per channel

have a look here i'm sure it works with 2006 models too but don't hold me to that

oh yeah the early alpines are some of the best according to cad my 9815 don't even work with the leads and i think thats a 2003

7893 is a fairly old (2001?)iirc so the adapters might not work
