Ordered the front coilovers and rear 45mm lowering blocks for the 360 yesterday. Wheels are the priority after that. Then possibly an exhaust and some webers - bwaaarp.

I’m happy with the engine. It’s never gonna be a performance car but it’ll do 80mph all day long. Also, when you have 3 kids - it’s the correct number of doors.

Other was a 340 so had the prop shaft issues. This would be a better base for more power but I might just stance it out and stick with the b19.

Picked up the 940s replacement. 1983 Volvo 360. 52k from new and smashed the 100 odd mile trip home with no issues. She’s old but not in bad nick! I’ll get some better pictures tomorrow after a clean.

Since the Volvo went the saxo has been on daily duties. It doesn’t like the rain. I’d probably be drier outside.

True! He’d lost money on that before then. Anything earlier than a t4 is a bit of a minefield because rot becomes a massive issue.

I had a similar issue with a valver I sold. I told the guy I didn’t know when the belt had been done, sold the car and three days later he’s wanting a full refund because the cambelt snapped. Jog on babbi.

Been offered a swap for the Volvo. 2008 mondeo diesel in titanium spec. 175k, 12 months mot, few marks but seems ok. On paper it seems a bit of a no brainer really but I just think I’ll get bored of the mondeo pretty quickly. It’s mapped and makes 180bhp and a lot of torque, decat and dpf...
