For 1k you can't really go wrong, saw the advert on Facebook and thought it looked clean, what's the 4th one that's arriving? Is it yellow and supercharged ??
Would be rude not to look when only 4 miles away, have added cup spoiler to mine although it's the only external body difference everything else will stay as Ph1, you definitely can't beat a Ph1. Ride is good on the eibachs with cup shocks although I have just organised some Bilstein B14's for...
Unfortunately plate wasn't mine although it took a few months to transfer once I had bought car so rocked it for that time, perfect plate for the car, think it got transferred on to another Clio V6 that the same person owned in black. Maybe one day I will have another they are great cars
It was epic, back before responsibilities and children ? can't wait to get the Ph1 back, have also bought some other bit's for it which I now can't wait to get fitted, I don't have lot's of pics of the V6 but any excuse to post some especially while the Ph1 isn't here ?
Luckily the car isn't here otherwise I would probably be out there seeing what I can do about the binnacle ? V6 while not that much if any quicker than a 182 was just a lot more of an occasion, just getting in with the engine behind you and all the noises associated with that felt great and...
It's getting there ? it was a good start I am just adding to it, will be good to get it back with a new clutch as that needed doing and hopefully get to the bottom of a couple of the other bit's. I hadn't noticed about the clock binnacle thing, will investigate and see what that is, not sure if...
Just over 80k so not low low but not high either, only a couple of owners and history, it was in good condition when I bought it so much better all round than my last Ph1 especially the interior and just want to look after it and enjoy it, especially as they get rarer, if it goes up in value...
Gave it a good wash this weekend, wanted to clay/polish/wax as well but didn't get chance to but I did manage to de-sticky the silver centre console, wished I hadn't started half way through but it looks great and isn't sticky anymore which is a result, need to do the door pulls next ...
Might not make this now ? car is going in for a new clutch and a few other bits so I may not have it back, was looking forward to it as well, unless I come over in a Passat estate ?
Ambers had to be done, think it works really well on the silver and helps break it up a bit, bumper was sprayed when I bought it and luckily colour match looks good which was a bit of a result, have some other bit's to do just have to get round to them ?
Few more bits done today and a much needed wash ? first of all before the wash fitted a few of the bit's I have been collecting.
New rear numberplate light - before
After
New amber side indicators - before
After
New amber front indicator bulbs - before
After
Also got some pics of the...
I had a 3 year break from cars when I started a business, I missed them but you do forget that their is always something to buy even if you need man maths to justify ? have a great time in Canada, have a friend who loves it out there for mountain biking, have family in Canada just haven't...
Looks great, bet it goes well now as well ? been out in a 230/240bhp clio turbo and it was plenty quick enough, especially when it hooked up in the dry, would have kept up with lot's of more expensive machinery
Cheers @OssPoop ? Am hoping to come, haven't made one so far and am pretty sure I am around then, am going to try and make more things the rest of this year if possible ?
Tried the fatty but didn't get on with it so ended up with a V6 airbox and ITG filter on the cup, more noise than standard when foot down but still similar to standard the rest of the time, I had the air feed pipe removed and was going to do a cold air feed from the front fog but didn't get...
Cheers Dan, it still looks good ? will get the remaining bit of damage fixed but definitely want to enjoy it first for a bit especially as I tucked it away over Winter. I have more parts to fit but haven't managed it yet as our third child was born on Tuesday so that's kept me occupied, can't...
Their always has to be a list, sounds like what I was thinking of doing with mine before I sold it, kind of a clubsport type of spec, sounds good, look forward to seeing it
