Great to finally meet you yesterday Dan :) The photos look awesome to me, really like them and the colours are so vivid! Have a great trip and look forward to seeing you at Llandow with the VX!
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Will do a write up in the next day or so although there isn't much to say unfortunately! Gearbox issues were the flavour of the day for yesterday, the lever had seized up which made it tricky and then it would...
Looks awesome mate love it all :) Have you got someone you can borrow one from? If not then I have one so can always post up if required just let me know :)
Well done guys! So happy for you and it was such a pleasure to be there today! It was such a great environment to be part of and just a great way to spend a day :) Thanks for having me and can't wait for our weekend at Anglesey!

Pre-Anglesey Prep:
So tomorrow I am heading over to Anglesey for a Javelin trackday with my instructor, the forecast is looking epic :) I have spent some time over the last week checking over the car post...
Sorry I'm on my phone so can't look but timetable should be on the CSCC website under calender and then a link next to the event :) Off the top of my head practice is around 9.30 and race around 2 but that is give and take an hour ;)
Well done :) Great result and sounds like plenty of time still to come which will be comforting! Love the fact your dad is blasting the winner with champs lol! The car looks awesome as ever and really nice write up, Thanks for sharing :)
Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project"
I heard a loud bang but we thought that was the arch liner that flew off lol! Car felt fine though for the last 15 mins of the race but it was mega ruined when we came in! Couple of CM movement :(
^^^^ This all day long, I have spoken with many people who have had cartec ones fail and also the simple power cut off's fail. Definitely worth going for the Armtech Solid state :)
Mine is mounted on the bulkhead and then cut off on the scuttle panel
He is a top bloke! Lol at swearing at the other guy :) I would do anything to drive that circuit its always been a dream and will stay that way i'm sure :(
Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project"
Cars looking awesome and bet it goes well now :)! I had a bearing go at Brands although I didn't notice until I got home! Was in quite a state :(
Ah perfect well i've got to order some new wipers from ebay for it so will get some at the same time then thanks :) Look forward to seeing it at Llandow. Plate would be a good idea for it, the car certainly doesn't look 9 years old!
Haha thanks mate, I didn't actually use it lol! Was tempting just to beat it to death but thought it wouldn't be wise :) Passenger stub is scored upon closer inspection so they are now stripped off and waiting for some more arriving tomorrow ready to be put back together for Friday :)
Shoddy...
Nice job with the oil cooler, I'm thinking to move mine atm. I thought the inlets/outlets had to be upright otherwise it just empties all the oil from the rad into the sump and then you can never read the oil level? I am probably totally wrong :o
I quite like it personally although if I didn't have it then I wouldn't pay to put it back in! As Tony say's its more to go wrong and mine has played up a couple of times! If I were you I wouldn't bother :)
It's a lot of work to put it back in now Mark from what i've been told, the simplest way is putting a Bosch motorsport system back in as it's virtually standalone but then your talking mega bucks!
If you think you want to get it back in then your more than welcome to have a drive of mine and...
Used to have a set fitted to the Caterham and they wobble like mad and are too small for the clio IMO :( I need to sort out a mirror as my cage slightly blocks the vision
Good on you mate for trying something different :) Interested to see how you get on with the 16's
Great photo's from...
Haha I still owe you though :)
Yeah I just don't think the £3500 is a necessity as much as it would be nice to do and also awesome when finished! The wrap cost about £800+vat off the top of my head, I do think it's a great method of protecting race cars but I would never have one on a road car...
