So sorry to hear about the dent Mark.
The lack of care people take over cars annoys me massively. I've never once hit my car door on another vehicle and if I ever did I would leave my details.
Hopefully you get it sorted shortly.
I arrived around 8.50am and the car park was already full.
I was hanging around @Dr Jekyll car for a while but couldn't see any on who remotely look like the owner!
Assume a Dodge Viper may have been the culprit this week!
I'll be there next month, hopefully parking over the road will also mean I should get actually meet you guys!
I did pop along but got there a little late! I was only there for around an hour with a pal in a TM Evo then had to shoot off so didn't get to meet anyone. I'll be going next month also.
@Dr Jekyll your car is amazingly clean for a daily. Very jealous and looked lovely.
You can check it on the deed to the land.
All public data at the land registry, IIRC its only about £4.00 to obtain a copy which should include a drawing of the land owned within the deeds.
Also here is a better pic of the interior dash inserts. As previously said I should have painted them silver as I don't believe the matt black works but I'll it's still a major improvement over what was there originally.
I also want to change the air box, as I don't like the look of the Mk1...
ENGINE TIDY (Finished for now!)
So this weekend I had pretty much the whole weekend free so I set about finishing the engine bay and putting it back together.
As said above I wasn't overly pleased with the Hammerite finish and it didn't appear that durable, therefore I decided to copy @Paul.M...
IIRC I think this meet can get pretty busy and the main car park area fills up very quickly. Parking is then pushed across to an access road around 50 yards before/after the pub.
After a little research I found this Breakfast club meet at The Hare in Roxwell (just outside Chelmsford).
Details can be found here http://www.pieandpintinns.co.uk/pdf/Breakfast Club 2017.pdf
The meet begins at 9am and I popped into a meet here the other year and was a good turn out of cars...
Now I feel rude! As said, I do apologise if taken the wrong way I just wanted to express an interest.
Meeting points, as a newbie I have no idea being new to all this!
Thread title is "Saturday 1st April meet", from what I've read in this thread location and time haven't yet to been confirmed, I merely wanted to express an interest in attending a local meet.
Unless I have totally misunderstood your post above, I apologise however I don't get the purpose of...
I'm currently doing a few bits on my engine bay, its very time consuming, mine is currently in pieces!
I just need to pain the cam cover & the rocker cover and then I'm done......for now!
Yeah looking back I should have done silver but as said they can easily be changed. I'll wait until I've some spare time.
I've not fitted mine yet but will fit them when I fit the 2118's. Maybe this weekend...
