I've not long ago replaced my very worn PS3's with a new set as I got a deal on them in 15".
I used to run P Zeros on the 16" wheels and they were more than good enough for the road, although they appear to have gone up in price compared to others.
I think it's 3 settings on the hair triggers on the elite, makes a big difference. You can also adjust the tension on the sticks.
I have my paddles set to jump and slide, then the others are up and down on the d-pad so I ping/drop equipment without taking my thumb off of the left stick.

Had a new set of PS3s fitted all round (from Halfords of all places!) and then cleaned it.

I imagine they'll push the GT Line models more. That seems to be what the majority of people go for these days - all the trim on a standard car, keeping running costs down.

A general spanner check to make sure everything is tight, and use a small pry bar to check for excessive movement in the joints and bushes.
If you’re swapping the rack out then id be inclined to put new inner and outer tie rods on it before fitting. Unless yours are relatively new obviously.
Lower balljoint could be a culprit for something like that. When one of mine went it started knocking and the steering was a bit erratic.
Driveshafts tend to click when pulling away on full lock when they’re on their way out, and I don’t believe it would cause the steering to be like that...
