I would say the chances of the GT3 RS having a manual are nil! Why? - because the PDK is a better box; sure, it'll annoy the purists but as an out and out 'performance. car the PDK is just better.
Great video! I thought the 997 GT3 was staggering around the ring and we were only doing 8:15 BTG!!
I drove a stock R27 round Cadwell and it was brilliant! I can't image how much fun a S/c R27 must be!
Would imagine you'd be dipping under 8mins at the North Loop with that spec!
Around 2:40ish. Watch from 2:30 and you'll see where i lift and where the OP vid obviously doesn't. You can go longer if you don't have a passenger, in my vid i had a massive German man who was giving my brakes a bit of a pounding! ;)
Only in passing Rob. Looks like a fish at the front! (Same goes for it's bigger brother) I think Ford have gone backwards in that department...But if the chassis is as good as it appears to be, maybe that's enough for most!
Just what i was told by the ring regulars, and i guess it's subjective to the car your in. GT2's and GTR's etc are doing c160mph down there!
Like you said it's not about setting records, call it a comfort lift if you will; the lardy hippo isn't great over the depression.

A very fast part of the track, but not a hard one imo! You lift at the bottom of the foxhole and accelerate up...I'm not flat through the first left either.
The Schwedenkreuz is scary, easily over 140mph and a bump on the entry + alot of faster cars passing you along there!
It all depends on how it's driven...I.e when i got mine the pads were 10k miles, now it's at 5k miles (Only done 2k since i bought it)
The log book will still show the service history, and the iDrive will show you all the pending services required and when.
It's a little more difficult to...
