I'm training to be a Civil Engineer, should be qualified next summer, so AutoCAD will take a back seat in my world.
However, during my training, and for a good part of my working life, I've used AutoCAD, starting with kitchen design, and now for producing the more basic deliverables in the CE...
Yeah I figured it would be undercut by anyone with a lower cost of living.
Just wondering, it's a shame as it's something I can do with my eyes shut these days.
Slight thread revival, does anyone in here do any AutoCAD freelance work?
Just something I've been thinking about doing as a little side earner, but don't really know where to start.
My FF RB 182 was a cracking daily, climate and cruise really made the difference on long journeys, 2000 miles round Europe for example, and they'll do 40mpg no issues, on a long trip.
As title really, 172 Cup, what thread size are the various fittings on the car?
I'd assumed M10x1 would be a suitable replacement, thought it worth checking.
Cheers
I've managed to track down the leak on the Cup, but it appears it's not a straightforward fix.
The water is coming in between the window glass, and the window seal. Seemingly worse at both ends of the glass.
I'm not just talking about a small leak either, it's pouring in, almost like the...
Nope, (well yeah) but I need the centre ones too, as the lines running into the regulator look crusty AF, I'm worried they're going to spin the pipe and wanker it.
The regulator on my 172 Cup has packed in. I have a replacement on the way, but I'm likely to need new lines, as the old ones look awful!
From the sounds of it, they don't make them any more, so I'm going to sort some myself. I've made lines before, and I was thinking of buying some pipe and...
I've retrimmed my headliner and I'm looking to refit it tomorrow.
There was a lot of tar on the roof, that I'm thinking might have lost its adhesion, what would you guys recommend to use to ensure the headliner doesn't drop down? Any particular glue that will work with fibreglass to metal?
I'm good thanks, yourself?
I did, Phoenix Edition Mk2.5. It was a nice car to drive, and had a lovely interior, but ultimately it was too small for me, and the sills were a bit wankered.
It looks like something a DJ would use, that's fully not what I'm after.
Erm... what?!
I'm properly not an expert on this stuff.
Again, both far too modern.
That's like someone asking for the best hot hatch for £3000 and you suggesting a new FRS. :expressionless:
So is it a none starter? We're hardly connoisseurs of music.
I want to get the mrs a record player for her birthday.
It needs to look the part, so the "vintage" look is a must (her taste, and to fit in with the decor of the flat).
The issue is, I know zero about them or what's good and what's best avoided. Budget, around £100?
Cheers
Good updates, can't wait to start on mine properly.
James, I'm utterly maxed with uni assignments at the moment, so the Cup has been neglected a touch, I won't have the jobs sorted I want doing by the end of May, plus I'm not particularly arsed about a 3 hour PM session. I do plan to do at...
I got it today on Xbox One, I seem only to be able to have a single "box" in which to build my city, do I need to wait for things to unlock? I kinda wanted to be able to pick where I started the city.
