When doing the coilovers the other day we noticed that one of the cv boots was shagged. The other side also got accidentally hit with a hammer and got shagged as well so it was off to @craigyt s work for a small session on the cupra.
Big tool action.
New boot.
Also raised the car up...
Was down at @craigyt house again tonight doing some work on the 340.....again.
Anyway, he's just finished restoring a cub90 so thought I'd take some shots of it with the Volvo. So cool I think I might have to buy on myself!
They're on. As low as they'll go on the back and still scope to go Lower on the front. Won't be going lower though as I'm scrubbing like a scene hero already.
So, expected my coilovers today but yesterday got an email from 'mad motors' telling me that it would be at least 10 days before they have them in stock. How disappointing.
Anyway, cancelled that order and re ordered from trusty old larkspeed so fingers crossed I'll have them by the weekend!
Nice motor! I think he'll be hard pressed to get £6k for it though. My Saxo was a better spec and I only had one interested party at £5k (luckily he bought it!).
