looks tidy & its a 4 plate on 50k- if you have an invoice for the belts etc then 3k from a dealer is about right-
try & squeeze it for 2750-
Check the engine when its running for the dephaser on its way out- is all I would really be worried about-

in essence these are 2 different cars- the Ph1 is a bit raw- 'rough & ready' if you like- if you lined the 2 cars up I bet the phase 1 would be ever so slightly quicker-
Ive been back in an R27 for a few days & the handling & chassis is where the later clio really does kick a standard ph1 into...
hum looks a bit ropey, appreciate your on a tight budget- I would have gone for a lowish mileage Ph1, rather than a 10 owner 100k Ph2.... plus all in to get it up & good probably another few hundred sheets...
