Good shout on that cooler too, nice and cheap also!
And I can't believe how small the RAM is, it's ridiculous. It's only as tall as the ram slot itself!
Yep - you could go as cheap as this - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-202-MS
But i'd be a bit concerned about the position of those capacitors right by the CPU (making mounting a cooler difficult for some).
Perhaps something like this...
Better value for money, and at current yep they're outperforming Nvidia ones (they were slower until some crazy driver updates increasing performance by around 15-20%).
You could downgrade the case, I've just bought this for my brother...
Their excuse was that because all 3 of my runs were so similar that it wouldn't be the heat, but they had already done 4 previous runs when calibrating it which meant the air intake was 40C higher than everyone elses!
Doubtful that hot air intake alone would lose me 9bhp (but maybe possible?)...
You should have seen it on the dyno, it was horrendous! Coming down in the revs it was wobbling so badly!
Anyway, pretty much everyone was down 1 or 2 hp, I think a couple of people went up, but all in all a good days run!
Doh no worries man, and as for me there's a list of excuses as long as my arm as to why it didn't make the power it did before :D
Not sure what it actually was, but running on a badly buckled wheel probably didn't help!
It's not finished yet though, you can play offline forever, but no ability to save at the moment.
For all you Developers out there, the code is in JAVASCRIPT - yes, Javascript LOL.
And if you understand any math at all, look at this...
It maybe mapped?
Many maps smooth it out so you have more power/torque earlier on rather than the "kick".
I've got the 98 Ron Performance Map on mine and it's slightly smoother, you still notice it a little bit though.
As long as you inspect the windscreen before it's put on they can't put the wrong one on..
I had one replaced on my 306, they put the wrong one on (factory ones had a 20% tint so it looked odd being completely clear) - they wouldn't replace it even though it was the incorrect one without me...
