Mine was both seal and pipe :(
I pushed a thin iron road down the pipe and pushed loads of s**t out and then re sealed with kitchen sealant. Has held up so far
Exactly I have a 1.2 I could afford a 172 just not the insurance. I've modified mine and I've got savings too. I won't thank anyone for £400 savings when I could of had my car looking nice tbh.
I don't get why people tell 1.2 owners to save their money? That's like saying to sport owners save your money so you can buy a 'insert more expensive car here'. We have a desire to modify our current car and are quite happy to spend our money on it, if we regret it in the long run well that's...
Maybe he wants to modify his current car guys?
Colour coding would look good inc door handles and maybe a new spoiler? I wouldn't bother reprinting your current wheels, but you might be able to pick up some cheap F1s or 172 alloys and refurb them and it would set the car off nicely :)
If it's the same as a 2010 one I have on as my driving lesson car and i don't like it. I find the gearbox is really clunky, engine is really shakey on idles, slow through 1st and 2nd gear. But that might cause it's driven by people who can't drive and has 125K on it?
