    Poor mpg, low temp

On the home screen, go on Realtime Information. Mine loads up a page with dials on by default it has things like RPM, throttle and coolant temp. Do yours look similar?

The everlasting ph1 ITB Build **GREEN-BUILD STARTS AT PAGE 100**

You'll want to grind the powdercoat out of the tapers where the bolts sit, otherwise it'll end up loosening the nuts off when hot.

    £30 each roughly.

    Power steering issue

1.2 is electric power steering ;) Not sure on the common faults on these, but is your alternator ok? Low power can cause all sorts of problems.
  5. Mr Trailer Man

    Poor mpg, low temp

Yeah shouldn't lose any coolant if it's stone cold really.

    Poor mpg, low temp

I would edge towards it being the CTS. Thermostats usually fluctuate up and down when a bit dodgy.

    Poor mpg, low temp

Can be both. Have you got a way of reading the coolant temp via OBD?

    spare bolt in cambelt kit

You could use either really mate, the 8200608653 52mm would have worked too. The shorter one fits the K4M from the Twingo 133 as well.

    spare bolt in cambelt kit

Good question, i don't know really. I can only assume it's under more load than the other... Doesn't look to be out that much, not enough to worry about anyway.

    spare bolt in cambelt kit

I can only assume the old bolt was one that someone found in their parts bin.

Can't trust most dealerships nowadays with these. Not like when these cars were new, you'd have someone in there that knew them. Now, not many people take them to dealers so it's not worth them keeping the specialists. The Renault specialists you see now were all probably once Renault Master...

For the ribbed idler pulley yeah.

His first post had 2 picture atttachments, the cambelt kit and aux kit. Maybe you only saw the aux kit pic? But yeah he should be sorted now once he gets the cams seals kit i linked and a crank bolt.

    Cambelt

Not sure what you mean, but he's ordered both kits but individually. The cambelt kit (which doesn't actually include everything) for £205 and then the aux kit for £77.
  17. Mr Trailer Man

    Cambelt

I'd just order them separately now to save the hassle.

    Cambelt

This is the full kit https://www.renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/parts/service-parts/renault-clio-172-182-cam-belt-change-kit/
  19. Mr Trailer Man

    Cambelt

The kit he's ordered for £205 doesn't include the cam seals, crank pulley bolt or the seal plug for the dephaser.
  20. Mr Trailer Man

    Cambelt

Yes i would order them because if your current seals leak after you've had the new belt done, it'll all have to come off again. https://www.kamracing.co.uk/car-tuning/renault/renault-clio-mk2/engine/renault-clio-mk2-renault-oe-cam-seals-kit-rs172-182.html 7701471629 is the part number.
