Minty! Cheers. First thing we did was wind them down before fitting to the car! When i get it back i'll re adjust i think!
Oh, and you'll regret no rear wiper come Winter ;)
First check the connector to the lock mechanism. If thats ok, its proabably the lock unit, it was on mine. Either trip to the scrappies or a new one, but they are £70 ish!

Get what you pay for. I got my fingers (badly) burnt by the GAZ stuff and they are £500 ish! cheap build, crap damping/rebound. This all help ruin my old Cup. I've since had H&R on a 172/182/197, and imo are prefect for a fast road set up. I'm now running Bilstein B14's on my 'new' 172...

Right up your street! Only selling as the gf now has a Fiesta Zetec S. Loads of ££ spent over the last few years. Wants for nothing. Cheap insurance for near 172 pace......
;)
Oh they are, i loved my 197, but mate, its not ten car lengths faster!(unless i missed the joke?) I, like you have had a 172 Cup, 182, 197, now back to a Cup. There is no doubt that for everyday use the 197 is a better car.
Its not just the aircon. Its only Cups that sit like that, so this 89kgs must be pretty true. My sister has a Cupped 182, and that sits like mine did on sportlines!
