I would be interested to hear your averages. His average is 20.5 mpg from new (just over 10k miles). Also, his has a clunking from the rear. Its now a known issue with the mag ride when going over bumps in dynamic mode. There is a post on RS3OC discussing a recall on them. Might want to check...

You've done well to get a cancelled order with the crazy lead times on these. My brother has one in exactly the same colour (2k option IIRC) along with the black optics and pan roof. He has just changed his pads after 6 months and 10k miles - £370 for the pads alone from Audi. Edit - 33mpg...

Yep I was planning on changing the interior to black or red. It would have been a nightmare as you said - carpets, lower dash, rear parcel shelf and various other trims need to be taken off. That will of course bring about some ratttles! Come summer time with a different interior its a £10k+...

That must have cost ALOT of money. Edit - it was up for 5995 in August so can't have been far off that. Was not as much as I thought it would be

I already messaged the previous owner :wink:. The chap selling paid £7800 for it in 2014. Last BMW service is at 65k then specialist after. Also the last service stamp is at at 85k. Since then, it has a few reciepts for parts which total £400 and his mate who is an ex-bmw mechanic serviced it...

I was thinking to buy it and put the CSL software on it to see how that went but we couldnt agree on the price. I think I will stick to a manual to be honest. The car is on cutters for anybody interested. Its not a bad buy - 06 plate for 7.5k

I went to buy an SMG over the weekend. It had a ridiclously slow gear change in manual mode in the highest setting. Are you supposed to lift off during gear change? Was it a duff car? I have been used to the DCT box in the E92 and a S Tronic in the S3 8V and thats light years ahead.

Very nice. I had a manual E46 a good few years ago and have been thinking of going back to one. The price of good ones have surprised be actually. 11k+ for a good one? I was offered a 11 plate E92 for 18.5 a few days ago so I am surprised at how close the prices actually are.

I sold my E92 335i sport for 12k 1.5 years ago. Manual black on black with 65k They are holding their values pretty well tbh.

Does it almost sound like a heatshield rattling? Not that it helps, but I had a similar noise on my S3 8L. Drove it like that for a few months:o. Mine was cam chain tensioner

I didn't do it personally as it was on the car before I got it. It seems as though its straight swap. I will get pics up tomorrow. Sounds like you have the Audi double Din Symphony system? That's an upgrade from the basic sound system

I've got the S3 lower diffuser on my daily A3 too. Makes a big difference to the rear end.

If you have skills which are transferable - then go for it. I have been applying for contracts recently and have found it tough going with no real response. I have been an IT consultant for the last 4 years. Is it always difficult to get the first contract from permanent?

Looks lovely. The exhaust valve mod is abit loud for my liking for a discreet BMW on day to day driving. Do I hear abit of wastegate rattle at 1:37? Mine is currently rattling :(

My 04 plate Megane seems to have developed a fault with the heating. It works on speed settings except for speed 4 where it just switches off. I have googled it an noticed its a common problem mainly for the scenic. Does anybody have a guide on how this can be fixed as a DIY jobby? I understand...

Awesome. A good friend of mine has an RS4 running 480 bhp and it seriously shifts. I would be surprised if you manage more than 25mpg:quiet:
