Unfortunately it was more disappointment! Despite our best efforts the manifold was still blowing so had to come away again.
On the way home the car was running like s**t but found the reason why when I got home.

Always gonna be more of a cruiser than a performance car but it sounds great on the carbs and certainly goes better than on the original 1.7.

The guy from bogg brothers was nice enough to give us some gasket paper so craig made a template and cut it out.
Then back on the car and all the carbs buttoned up!
Kudos to @craigyt ? After today's disappointment he got on and sorted the issues out straight away.
Turns out the inlet manifold wasn't very flat - hence the leak!

After my disappointment with the 340 I decided to spend some time with the 940 and do the inside. I'll have one day tomorrow with no dog, no kids seats, and no s**t in the car before mondays school run.
