Was just looking at this one on EBay, only 18k miles on the clock to IIRC.

Mum's Scenic has thrown off its alternator belt and the pulley has come away from the alternator.
Can anyone confirm if this pulley is supposed to be one part or if it is as pictured?
Also if this is how its meant to be how do you get it back on the alternator? Looks like I need a massive...
Have you checked you have not lost any wheel weights?
Drive shafts are a problem area as well.
Worst case (like I had) diff in the gearbox can also cause this.
Looks like I'm out, cars very unwell and can't risk the distance, next outing for me will be the Ace Cafe meet.
Stuntys got a date so has said he won't make it as he will be pushing some lucky lady through his headboard.
Mines poorly as well :( some sort of intermittent compression issue on number 4.
Mike said it needs stripping down but could be a stuck valve, rings or a cracked piston :(
Time to start saving for a rebuild!
