Gutted for you.
When my sister had her fiesta st centre caps stolen I felt how you feel, She also had the rear grill stolen when the car was parked on the drive.
I know how you feel and it's not nice. These people are just a waste of oxygen.
Ok so here's my rear discs that I bought from Renault Wolverhampton.
My car is a full fat.
Feel free to count the teeth or do whatever you need to do but like I say the above traders are very knowledgable and they will sort you out
Edit: ignore the black paint marks on the edge of the...
I thought there was either disc with abs ring or disc with no abs ring.
I've always thought it was one or the other but I could be wrong.
Either way you'll get it sorted if you speak to Wolverhampton or G172
As above, great service from those guys.
I recently got new rear discs and pads from Renault Wolverhampton on here. More than likely you'll need the discs with the abs ring but just speak to them and they will tell you exactly what you need.
I don't use a dedicated wheel cleaner anymore.
I got five litres of simoniz car shampoo for £5 from Costco so I just use that. The shampoo contains wax so it's perfect for wheels. I don't use it on the bodywork but it's a very good shampoo and perfect for my needs as a wheel cleaner.
I put...
It will be absolutely fine as long as the fueling is set up correctly.
The problems only start when people begin playing with the boost and they don't know how to adjust the fueling.
Interesting Dave. I've never seen one of those before. It's a good idea I think.
No doubt the af one will sell better than the elite one even tho it's the same.
scotty10 just rinse under a warm tap with a bit of fairy liquid and then just leave to dry.
Just seen over on dw autofinesse are testing/releasing new applicator pads and a wax.
Applicator looks like it sticks to a 4in pad which sounds ideal. The waxmate they do isn't all that in my opinion. It's too small and too soft. This could be a good solution.
Another wax??? Not sure how...
He's already bought an awesome r5.
Gt turbos are also incredibly reliable as long as they are set up properly and looked after, just like any car really.
Have a look here http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=747763
Good choice Ben. It's a great product.
Not really anywhere in particular however if your just ordering sonax bsd I'd buy it from amazon because it's free postage.
If you wanna order lots of different things clean your car has a good selection including the sonax range.
I agree Dave. You won't see months and months of protection from it but for me it's so easy, cheap and fast to apply I'd happily use it every few weeks or once a month.
I've even used bsd as a drying aid and the water behaviour returned and lasted.
A while ago I did half my bonnet with c2v3...
BenGmin
I'd also recommend going down the spray sealant route as Dave suggested.
Sonax bsd
Carpro reload
Gtechniq c2v3
All three are very good but I'd say get sonax bsd just because it's a strong performer and at £13 for 750ml it's a bargain and will last a very long time.
Good thinking Ant. Once you learn how it's done from someone else then you can start to do things yourself. These are great cars for playing around with and learning how everything works because they are so simple.
The car is looking great tho and I really like the sound of your plans for it...
Sounds a good spec. 285 is a great all rounder.
Yeah AFRs are absolutely crucial with these cars. Get it right and you'll have a fast and reliable car, get it wrong and things quickly go pear shaped.
Ok sounds good just a heads up if you have never played around with the carb before they can...
No worries mate :)
I wouldn't worry about priming the pad with a qd or pad prime.
The correct way to prime the pad is to apply a fair amount of polish onto the face of the pad and work it in with your fingers until every bit of the pad is covered in polish. After that you can apply 2 or 3...
