Nearly there mate, nothing special at the moment. Will wait until it's finished, as there's a couple of nice touches. I'm off work next week so hope to get it finished then.
Found a lovely black V6 (not Fred's) at a price I couldn't refuse, paid deposit yesterday and picking it up tonight - very excited. Pics to follow:cool:
I can't believe people expect testers to pass obvious faults-"Your exhaust is falling off, your brakes don't work and all four tyres are below 1.6 mate, I'll pass it but just get them changed as and when"
Why should the tester do it, when the owner couldn't be bothered?
Yes James, I will be. Hopefully some more will see the light and that they can be raced in this guise and you don't necessarily need to throw thousands at them, to make them track ready.
I'm guessing the outer part of the centre bore (where that circlip is) isn't 60.1. So it fits on until it reaches the thinner part.
My other thought was that you may have left a spigot ring on.
