Echoing what others have said. Tuition and track time is certainly one place to spend money.
Parts wise, I'd start with the brakes, and mod as you progress and you feel is required.
Make sure the car is fit for purpose and serviced etc.
People's driving really worries me.
Glad you're both ok. Car on first glance stood up very well. As previously said though crumple zones are a funny thing.
Afternoon all,
I acquired one of the original Drift HD 1080 cams from one of the members on here, all is good, great thing it is!
Only thing is, it suffers from loads of wind noise, anyone got any ideas of how I can reduce/remove this issue?
Cheers,
I'd struggle to get anything much more than 30mpg driving like miss daisy... Most of the time it'd sit around 26mpg
Pretty bad on today's standards especially for the turbo engines.
It's not hate.
They are good fun cars. I think there's an element of resentment as they're pretty crap on fuel for the performance and the gearboxes are known to crumble (although mine never did in over 20k).
Great chassis though and a lot of fun.
+1. Looks like something is rubbing. What make are the tyres?
They don't look like they got "that hot" for them to de laminate. (have seen that before with sh*t tyres or defective ones).
